Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FreeGen ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our free AI image generation service (the "Service"). We built FreeGen to be usable without an account, and we collect as little data as possible.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not require registration, and we do not ask for or store:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Payment information (the Service is free and has no payments)
• Account credentials (there are no accounts)

2. Information We Process

• Prompts. The text you type to generate an image is sent to our servers and passed to third-party AI model providers to create your image. Prompts are processed to deliver the result and are not linked to your identity.
• Generated images. Images are stored temporarily in server memory (up to about one hour) so you can view and download them, after which they are automatically deleted.
• IP address. We process your IP address in server memory for security and fair-use rate limiting. We do not build profiles based on it.
• Basic technical logs. Standard web server logs (request time, status codes) may be kept for a short period for security and debugging.

3. Third-Party AI Providers

Image generation is performed by third-party AI model providers. Your prompt (but not your identity) is shared with such providers solely to generate your image. Their handling of the data is governed by their own policies.

4. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising. Third-party advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to display ads, measure ad performance, and limit how often you see the same ad. These partners may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. You can limit ad tracking through your browser settings (e.g. blocking third-party cookies) or your device's ad settings.

5. Cookies

FreeGen itself does not use cookies for tracking. Advertising partners may set their own cookies as described in Section 4.

6. Data Retention

Generated images and job data are automatically deleted from server memory within about one hour. We do not maintain a database of users, prompts, or images.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS encryption, server hardening) to protect the Service. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data linked to you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will assist.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
